GREAT NEWS
The bulletin board is now LIVE. Please use this to post messages and to put items up for sale.
Do not be scared of it, for you do have to register, but once in, you will find it a great help.

I believe that most collectors, like myself, are finding it increasingly difficult to find good or distinctive items of Crown Lynn to add to their collections. Where once second-hand stores and antique dealers always had a few items. This is now down to a trickle.

I have therefore come to the conclusion, right or wrong that there has been a massive shift in the appreciation of Crown Lynn over the last three years.

This is great news for the investors among us, for it will surly drive prices, but those like myself who view Crown Lynn for it’s assesctics and for the indel…

For myself, the finding of new items is fast being lost. I am not crying over spilt milk, for I knew this day would come, and in fact that I am proud that Crown Lynn is at last being recognized and given standing in New Zealand culture.

Help!
Could anyone point me towards any info on Crown Lynn's Plate Maps? Only ever seen two - One of Dunedin city (at Aduki Clothing Store there) + another of Auckland on Trade Me website (See image above).
Thanks in advance,

Keep collecting,Maurice

Welcome

A big hello to all new readers and to those interested in Crown Lynn pottery and New Zealand ceramics.
Let me say, from the outset, that I am not an authority on the subject, nor do I have a large collection.
My interest in Crown Lynn is very specific, as I only collect the household white ware, the vases dishes and ornaments of the 1950's-1960's, mass produced in molds by the slip cast method. I have over 150 items, all white, with new pieces being added to the collection as I find them. Mainly, I find what I am looking for in secondhand shops but also on occasion in antique stores.
